WHO ARE WE?
Simply put, we are four people who love research, who love sharing knowledge, who want to bring to living history the realities and the stories of the lowest citizens. The bonus is we get to be an embarrassment to our children at the same time.
Eric Paul Scites aka Christopher Bodkin
Sharper, Faulkner, Flying Stationer. So honest he even tells you he is going to cheat.
Since co-founding Faire Wynds Ent. in 1994, Eric has devoted his energies into building it into an entertainment company specializing in historical entertainments. Because even with a degree in Opera Performance from The OSU, bills gotta get paid!
Susan Scites aka Penelope
Toyle, Diver, Bo Peep, Autum Mort to Eric since 1984 cause they were married in a church proper!
Since meeting in 1980, Susan has devoted her life to following Eric wherever he goes-picking up after him and rolling her eyes all the way. Having studied Fashion Design from the Columbus College of Art and Design, she is uniquely suited in...well...keeping Eric dressed and knowing where his phone and wallet are...
John Frank Jarboe aka Ould Badger/Parson John
Clapperdogeon, Ressurectionist, often mistaken for the Parson as they are never seen together!
John Frank Jarboe has been active in reenacting for well over 14 years. Frank, as Parson John can be seen offering Divine Services at events for both public and reenactors on Sunday mornings, many of which consider him their pastor. The rest of the time, well, he's just 'digging up' old friends and avoiding Carol when possible!
Carol Jarboe aka Maggie Delaney
Mumper, Survival Job Procuress and Doxy Wap to Ould Badger 'cause they held hands over a dead cat.
Carol is devoted to her 'one and only', Frank, and has been a life partner and supporter of his ministry for longer than she cares to remember. An active historical researcher in the life of the lowest of the low, her beloved Maggie has enthralled audiences far and wide with her story of an Indentured Servant now free. Free to hunt down Ould Badger and make sure he is doing what she told him to do, evidently!
